Shepherd Hill Farm is a small, family owned kennel located in beautiful Central Virginia. We are in Cumberland County, 40 miles west of Richmond.  Our kennels are clean and spacious. Our dogs are a part of our family and receive plenty of love, care and affection. |Pups are socialized at an early age.  Our dogs are all AKC registered and have good pedigrees and genetics. All of our puppies are kept up to date on shots and worming. All dogs remain up to date on shots and preventive medicines such as heartworm and flea and tick treatments.

Our German Shepherds – We believe in feeding the best quality food. We feed our adult dogs Royal Canin Maxi German Shepherd along with raw meats. Our pups are fed Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy food.  Our dogs have large fenced areas to play and get plenty of exercise.  They enjoy the water and have plenty of opportunities to swim and play fetch in our pond. We feel that our dogs will do very well in sport, personal protection, service work, police work and tracking as well as make wonderful companion dogs.  We use the Volhard puppy test to determine whether our pups go to a working environment or are better suited as family pets.

Our Beagles – Our beagles all come from good hunting lines. They have plenty of opportunities to keep their running skills sharp in a large, enclosed running pen. These dogs are excellent for sport and family pets.
